Bradley D. Edson, President and Chief Executive Officer

Bradley D. Edson has served as NutraCea's Chief Executive Officer since October 2005. He has held the position as President and been a board member since December 2004.

Mr. Edson was formerly the Chairman and CEO of Vital Living Inc., a company that primarily developed and marketed nutraceuticals for distribution through dispensing physician offices. Prior to Vital Living, Mr. Edson spent a decade developing a nationwide insurance agency focused on distribution channels for specialty products. Prior to that, Mr. Edson was a former principal and officer of an NASD broker/dealer firm.

Mr. Edson holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from Arizona State University.

Leo G. Gingras, Chief Operating Officer

Leo G. Gingras, Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Gingras most recently served as Vice President of Soy Processing and Technical Services at Stuttgart, AK-based Riceland Foods, Inc., a farmer-owned cooperative engaged in the processing and marketing of rice, soybeans and wheat, with annual sales of $950 million and a workforce of 1,800. In that capacity, Mr. Gingras managed business units with sales of over $320 million and a workforce of several hundred. He was responsible for research, quality and workforce development. He also developed and marketed new products, as well as developed and executed strategic plans for value-added rice products. While at Riceland Foods, he held a variety of integral positions, which included Division Manager, Manager of Oil Operations and Quality Assurance Manager.

Prior to Mr. Gingras' employment at Riceland Foods, he was Research and Development Manager at Lou Ana Foods, Inc. (Opelousas, LA), a company that processes, packages and markets edible oils, with annual sales of $120 million and recently acquired by Ventura Foods Inc.

Mr. Gingras holds Master of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Louisiana Lafayette and a Bachelor of Arts Degree with majors in chemistry and biology from Saint Anselm College.

Jeff Sanders, Chief Financial Officer

Jeff Sanders, Chief Financial Officer

Jeff Sanders, our Chief Financial Officer, joined NutraCea in April 2008. Mr. Sanders brings over 20 years of experience in corporate development, SEC reporting, strategic planning, competitive analysis, corporate finance, investor relations, and income tax and internal audit experience, having substantial experience with publicly-traded companies.

Prior to joining NutraCea, Mr. Sanders served as Chief Accounting Officer and then Chief Financial Officer of Laidlaw International, Inc., a $3.3 billion transportation holding company. Mr. Sanders was with Laidlaw from August 2003 until the company was acquired by London-based First Group PLC in October 2007. Prior, to joining Laidlaw he served over six years as Chief Financial Officer of Greyhound Lines, Inc., a $1.3 billion company acquired by Laidlaw in 1999.

Earlier in his career, he was with Deloitte & Touche, where he served as Senior Manager, Audit Services. He is a certified public accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Mr. Sanders is a graduate of Arizona State University with a B.S. in accounting.

Kody Newland, Senior Vice President of Sales

Kody Newland, Senior Vice President of Sales

Kody Newland oversees all sales-related operations for NutraCea's food ingredient, consumer and equine divisions. Mr. Newland brings nearly three decades of sales and marketing experience in the private and public markets.

Previously, Mr. Newland was Vice President of Sales for American Modern Insurance Group Inc., a subsidiary of The Midland Company. There, he was responsible for making American Modern Insurance Group one of the most profitable and fastest growing subsidiaries.

Earlier, Mr. Newland was Senior District Manager for Foremost Corporation of America (now a division of the Zurich Company), where he led the creation of new markets. He was also Regional Marketing Manager of the American International Group (AIG), leading sales operations in the Southeast Asia region, which included Hong Kong and Indonesia.

Throughout his career, Mr. Newland has also held various consulting responsibilities, which have included facilitating several mergers and acquisitions, creating distribution channels and launching new products.

Margie Adelman, Senior Vice President

Margie Adelman, Senior Vice President

Margie Adelman is responsible for business development and public relations. She has more than 20 years of experience in the nutraceutical and health-food industries.

Prior to joining NutraCea, Ms. Adelman owned and operated Adelman Communications, a full-service public relations firm based in Boca Raton, FL. Her clients included Rexall Sundown, AmeriVon, and Imaging Diagnostic Systems. From 1994 to 2000, Ms. Adelman was President of TransMedia Group, Florida's largest public relations firm. There, she created, managed and executed successful public relations programs for client companies, including Germany-based Boehringher-Ingelheim's natural products division, Pharmaton, and Martek Biosciences.

Ms. Adelman attended college at Florida International University, where she studied communications and journalism. In 1997, she won the Price Waterhouse Up and Comers Award, and, in 1998, was given the Soroptomist International Woman of Distinction Award.
