Lake Charles began production at the end of the first quarter 2008 and when fully operational will add approximately 30,000 tons of annual capacity to the Company's U.S. production. The facility also includes 25,000 square feet of warehousing and will be a central distribution center for NutraCea products. On June 6th 2008, NutraCea hosted a Grand opening ceremony for state and local dignitaries, local media and other invited guests. Senior management from NutraCea attended.
