Executive Officers and Senior Management![]() Interim CEO - James C. LintzenichAs of March 10, 2009, Mr. Lintzenich is serving as interim CEO for NutraCea. Since October 2005, he has served on NutraCea's BOD and is also the current chairman of the Audit Committee. As interim CEO, Mr. Lintzenich will extend additional focus toward NutraCea's financial reporting, strategic leadership and accurate communication. Mr. Lintzenich has served as President and Chief Operating Officer of SLM Corporation (Sallie Mae). From December 1982 to July 2000, Mr. Lintzenich held various senior management and financial positions, including Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial Officer of USA Group, Inc. Today, he also serves on the Board of Directors of the Lumina Foundation for Education and the Ball State University Foundation.

Gingras, Chief Operating OfficerMr. Gingras most recently served as Vice President of Soy Processing and Technical Services at Stuttgart, AR-based Riceland Foods, Inc., a farmer-owned cooperative engaged in the processing and marketing of rice, soybeans and wheat, with annual sales of $950 million and a workforce of 1,800. In that capacity, Mr. Gingras managed business units with sales of over $320 million and a workforce of several hundred. He was responsible for research, quality and workforce development. He also developed and marketed new products, as well as developed and executed strategic plans for value-added rice products. While at Riceland Foods, he held a variety of integral positions, which included Division Manager, Manager of Oil Operations and Quality Assurance Manager. Prior to Mr. Gingras' employment at Riceland Foods, he was Research and Development Manager at Lou Ana Foods, Inc. (Opelousas, LA), a company that processes, packages and markets edible oils, with annual sales of $120 million and recently acquired by Ventura Foods Inc. Mr. Gingras holds Master of Science and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of Louisiana Lafayette and a Bachelor of Arts Degree with majors in chemistry and biology from Saint Anselm College.
![]() Olga Hernandez-Longan, Chief Financial OfficerMs. Hernandez-Longan has over 20 years of financial experience in working with both public and private corporations in financial planning and analysis, SEC reporting, international finance, corporate M&A, divestitures and joint ventures. She served as Vice President and Controller of Wal-Mart International from 2004 until 2006 with responsibility for finance, accounting, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 Compliance, and internal and external reporting. In her position she worked closely with the company's strategy group on financial direction for potential acquisitions/joint ventures and on integration of acquisitions within Wal-Mart International. Prior to joining Wal-Mart, she spent nearly four years at Ford Motor Company, rising from Controller of Vehicle Procurement Operations to Chief Financial Officer of Ford of Brazil, where she had responsibility for finance, accounting and treasury and while there successfully restructured the existing business. This restructuring resulted in significant sustained fixed cost improvements, enhanced revenue, improved cash management and bottom-line profitability. Upon returning to North America, Ms. Hernandez-Longan was appointed Controller of Ford's Customer Service Division North American Operations. Prior to Ford, she was with Eaton Corporation where she served as Chief Financial Officer and Worldwide Controller of the company's Automotive Controls Operations and before that she worked for Sara Lee Corporation for nearly 5 years. Most recently, and prior to joining NutraCea, Hernandez-Longan was a Partner with Tatum LLC in their Financial Executive Practice. There she served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of companies such as Wells Dairy, makers of Blue Bunny Brand ice cream and Terlato Wine Group, a luxury wine producer and distributor where she had responsibility for all accounting, financial planning and M&A/joint venture activity. Ms. Hernandez-Longan earned an MBA with a double major in Finance and Accounting/Tax from Mercer University Stetson School of Business and her BA in Finance from Florida Atlantic University.
![]() Kody Newland, Senior Vice President of SalesKody Newland oversees all sales-related operations for NutraCea's food ingredient, consumer and equine divisions. Mr. Newland brings nearly three decades of sales and marketing experience in the private and public markets. Previously, Mr. Newland was Vice President of Sales for American Modern Insurance Group Inc., a subsidiary of The Midland Company. There, he was responsible for making American Modern Insurance Group one of the most profitable and fastest growing subsidiaries. Earlier, Mr. Newland was Senior District Manager for Foremost Corporation of America (now a division of the Zurich Company), where he led the creation of new markets. He was also Regional Marketing Manager of the American International Group (AIG), leading sales operations in the Southeast Asia region, which included Hong Kong and Indonesia. Throughout his career, Mr. Newland has also held various consulting responsibilities, which have included facilitating several mergers and acquisitions, creating distribution channels and launching new products. |
