PHOENIX, Jan. 30, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ —NutraCea (OTC Bulletin Board: NTRZ) announced today that it has filed a universal shelf registration statement on Form S-3 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). If and when declared effective by the SEC, NutraCea may, from time to time, offer and sell under the universal shelf registration statement up to an aggregate of $125 million of common stock, preferred stock, depositary shares and/or warrants to purchase any of such securities, in one or more offering.
