NutraCea Receives Purchase Order for $660,000This order is expected to be shipped and booked in the current quarter. The initial order for the launch of the baby rice cereal line was previously shipped and booked in the fourth quarter of 2006. This order expands the initial order in both size and scope. The products are now on store shelves throughout the nation and the product category is expanding into the international market. "Our product stands up against any national brand baby cereal in terms of price, taste, and integrity and is a great value for the consumer," said Margie Adelman, Senior Vice President of NutraCea. "We are delighted that our customer is happy with our product and as a result has requested line extensions as part of this order. In addition, we are currently discussing several other line extensions in this category, which include single and mixed grain cereals with the addition of fruits," Adelman added. "This is clearly a significant opportunity for NutraCea and we intend to continue to explore expansion with other premium private label brands for our customers." said Leo Gingras, COO of NutraCea.
