NutraCea's Patents

Beyond the proprietary and exclusive technology used to stabilize rice bran, seven U.S. patents have been awarded based on NutraCea research into the nutritional properties of rice bran. Patents include methods for treating hypercholesterolemia, hyperlipidemia, atherosclerosis, and controlling serum glucose; and, treatments for joint inflammation, pain and loss of mobility.
