John Short has agreed to extend his tenure for four years following the effective date of the Company’s exit from Chapter 11. This date is defined as the effective date of the plan of NutraCea’s reorganization under Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code (the "Plan of Reorganization").

NutraCea And Creditors Committee File Joint Plan Of Reorganization
PHOENIX, AZ, June 29, 2010 —NutraCea (NTRZ), a world leader in stabilized rice bran (SRB) nutrient research and technology announced today that on June 24, 2010, the Company and its Official Committee of Unsecured Creditors filed with the Bankruptcy Court a proposed Plan of Reorganization and related Disclosure Statement in accordance with the Bankruptcy Code. The Plan represents a major step forward in the Company’s efforts to emerge from Chapter 11.

NutraCea Receives Preliminary Court Approval For Settlement Of Securities Class Action Suit
PHOENIX, AZ, June 10, 2010 —NutraCea (NTRZ), a world leader in stabilized rice bran (SRB) nutrient research and technology, today announced that the United States District Court for the District of Arizona has granted preliminary approval of the previously announced settlement of the securities class action lawsuit against NutraCea and certain former officers and directors. The lawsuit was pending in United States District Court for the District of Arizona and the same claims were also filed in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Arizona. The settlement provides full and complete settlement for all claims against all defendants.

NutraCea Appoints New Chief Financial Officer
PHOENIX, AZ, June 8, 2010 —NutraCea (NTRZ), a world leader in stabilized rice bran (SRB) nutrient research and technology, today announced the Company's Board of Directors has appointed J. Dale Belt Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Accounting Officer, effective June 15, 2010. Mr. Belt replaces William J. Cadigan, a Tatum LLC partner, who has been Vice President of Finance since July 2009 and interim Chief Financial Officer since February 2010. Mr. Belt, currently the Managing Director at Sierra Consulting, has been a financial advisor to NutraCea since November 2009. He is a Certified Public Accountant registered in both Arizona and Kentucky, a Certified Turnaround Professional and a Certified Insolvency & Restructuring Advisor.
